My background includes teaching elementary and middle school students in Chicago, Orlando, and the Des Moines area. I have also coached high school cross country and tennis. In my work with youth and their families, I have found the value and importance of investing in those relationships.

I have four incredible children who are the light of my life, along with my wife, Megan, who inspires me every day. As a heart attack survivor, I believe that each and every day is truly a gift.
